My name is Daniel Carpenter and I am a professional guitar teacher able to help all ages and abilities learn to play the guitar.
I offer in-person guitar lessons to students across Solihull, on both electric and acoustic guitar. My lessons are suitable for beginner to advanced students, with individually tailored guitar lessons to help each student progress.
I cover a wide range of different musical styles, everything from rock & pop, blues, jazz and more. My lessons are completely driven by the music you are passionate about, with the lesson content drawing heavily on your favourite bands.
Whatever your style I will tailor our guitar lessons to suit your style and specific musical preferences.

I have many years teaching experience, including a lot of experience teaching younger learners (7+), as well as adults of all ages. I will help you to learn guitar at a pace that suits you, ensuring you develop with speed and confidence.
I teach all abilities, from students who have never touched a guitar before their first lessons to more experienced guitarists, so I know I have the lessons to help you achieve your goals on guitar.
Lessons are pay-as-you-go, weekly, fortnightly or as suits you.

I know just what it is like to be a beginner guitar student, plucking up the courage to come for your first guitar lessons - it can be a little daunting, but you really have nothing to worry about. Great teachers have a way of helping students to relax and really enjoy their first lesson. We will look at your guitar aims, your favourite artists before getting to work on some basic beginner songs.

My lessons are currently charged at £15 per half hour and £25 per hour for all students.
I teach some of my guitar students from my home teaching space located in Shirley. It is a great place to learn to play the guitar, with all the equipment needed for our lessons. For students who are unable to travel to me, I am to able offer mobile lessons to students across Solihull. I have a vast amount experience in teaching all ages of student & I offer my lessons to both adults and young learners.
I teach both and have a wide knowledge of both instruments.
Not at all, I have guitars I can lend you for the lesson. Although, in time, if you choose to take lessons more seriously, you might benefit from buying your own starter guitar for practising in your own free time.
